Rebecca Kacsala

Rebecca Marie Kacsala (also known as Becky) entered into eternal life March 7, 2026, two days before her 48th birthday (March 9, 1978). Although she faced numerous challenges in the life, be it physical, emotional, or visual issues, she kept a pleasant and cheerful attitude in her life that was present up until her final moments alive, which she spent at The Avenue Nursing Home in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. A graduate of Kenston High School, she attended classes at Tri-C East, then worked first at Discount Drug Mart and Opinions Inc. before working at her final place of employment at Giant Eagle Market District in Solon. In her spare time, she followed sports (namely the New York Yankees, Chicago Bulls and the WNBA), watched The Golden Girls and The Simpsons, and usually frequented numerous bingo halls. She is survived by her brothers John and Ernest (fiancee Robyn), her nephew Ernest Jr. and her niece Isabella, along with numerous friends and relatives locally and nationally. She was greeted in heaven by her mother Patricia (nee McDermott), her maternal (Leonard and Mildred [“Millee,” nee Thomas] McDermott) and paternal (John [II] and Alice [“Rose,” nee Greenfield] Kacsala) grandparents and other acquaintances she knew over the years for her impromptu birthday party upon her arrival in heaven. Her memorial mass will occur Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road (Ohio Route 306), Bainbridge Twp., Ohio, with her Celebration of Life occurring afterwards (11:30 AM) at the YMCA Centerville Mills Camp, 8558 Crackel Road (just east of Ohio Route 306), Bainbridge Twp., Ohio.
