It is with heavy hearts and minds that we are creating this website for our dear wife and mother. The hole left by her passing seems as if a meteor crashed into the earth. Together with our love and great memories we will be able to make it through this difficult time. Rebecca (Becky) deTuscan, 74, of Maggie Valley, NC, passed away on August 18, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Becky was born on May 17, 1947 to Elizabeth (Betty) and Paul Barr in Aliquippa, PA. After graduating from Aliquippa High in 1965, she went on to study Education at Florida Atlantic University.

After graduation, she began her career as a Primary Education Specialist for Broward County Schools for 30 years.
