How you can help

Hello everyone. As you may know, my grandpa, Reaves Milo Wolfe, also known as Skip, gained his angel wings on June 16, 2024, Father’s Day. My grandpa was an honest, hardworking, dedicated, great father, amazing grandfather, and a handsome man who was taken way too soon due to lung cancer. We found out in May 2024 he had lumps all over his body, only to get information that he was terminal and only had 4-6 months remaining on this earth. Right after finding out my grandpa's diagnosis, he wanted to go to Hospice, where he passed on 4 weeks after being there.

My grandpa had some final wishes we are trying to make come true. Something my grandpa always took pride in was his home. He always had open arms to anyone who needed somewhere to go or just wanted to come visit and say hi. One of his last wishes was he wanted my mother to keep his home and pass it down and keep it in the family. A couple of years ago, funds weren’t there so my grandpa had to take out a reverse mortgage on his home to try to support himself and pay bills. Now we are stuck with a $173,000 bill that we have to pay to keep the house from getting taken from the bank. This is such a big financial burden on us since we’re barely making ends meet as it is now but we have so many memories in that home, let alone I was legit born in the house right by the couch lol. It’s a tough situation because we’re not ready to let the house go without a fight.. That is why we are asking for $180,000; the loan for the bank is roughly around $173,000. My grandpa also had to sign on a loan for air conditioning & solar panels that have to get paid off .

If anyone can donate, we appreciate anything and everything. You’ll never know what you can accomplish until you try, even if you need help from the outside world and your community. Skips Celebration Of Life will be held on Friday, July 12th @ 2:45pm At Riverside National Cemetery hope to see all his family & friends there . Please be there no earlier than 2:15 and no later then 2:40 PLEASE & THANK YOU . When entering the cemetery your going to go to the visitors station gives Skips name and they will give you the final directions how to get to the memorial sight . Any questions - 9512369529
