Raymond "Ray" Schuring, age 64, of Wakonda, South Dakota, passed away on May 28, 2021, surrounded by his family. Raymond was born to Francis Schuring and Nathalie Schuring (Artz) in Deadwood, South Dakota on November 12, 1956. Raymond graduated from Lead High School and after high school, he went on to study Political Science for 2 years. Raymond served his country for 4 years in the Navy. He then went on to spend most of his life working various manual labor jobs. He enjoyed Fox News, Budweiser, the Beatles, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by his 2 children, Caroline Ferguson and John (Lora) Schuring; three sisters: Ann (Rick) Kleinheksel of Edward, MO, Rose (Mike) Bell of Nampa, ID, and Mary (Sherwin) Tieszen of Lesterville, SD; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; friends Rick Taylor and Wayne Stanfield, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Francis and Nathalie Schuring and sister Madonna Boyum.
