Will always miss Ray - such a great influence on everyone at church.  Great teacher!!!
Miss Raymond very much.  Such a great influence on myself and Vicky.  Miss his prayers and the way he cared for our church.  Never forget his last words to me after a big hug “I want to see heaven”.

Raymond was an amazing man with a determined nature to get things done right.  He could fix anything and it was usually better than it was before it broke.

His woodwork creations are treasures and a testament to his craftmanship.  Starting with a table saw to an air conditioned, dust-free complete wood shop made by himself.

His expertise is not lost if we apply his determination to our tasks but I wish we still had his first hand advice.  I will miss that but most of all I will miss our talks.

This verse reminds me of brother Raymond:

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, (Colossians 3:16).

I appreciated his thorough teachings of the word of God.

Raymond was not only a brother in Christ, he was a dear friend that I loved and highly respected.  I will surely miss him!
Raymond was teaching the Book of James in a Bible study when I first met him. His approach to the study was thorough.  However, it was one observation that caught my attention! He said, “Wisdom LOOKS LIKE something.” He took the time to show us from Scripture just what wisdom “looked  like.”  From that moment I captured his thought to use in all my Bible studying. Love LOOKS LIKE something! Peace LOOKS LIKE something! Obedience LOOKS LIKE something. Little did Raymond know that day that he would influence my Bible study for the rest of my life. I’m so grateful for his love for the Lord and diligence to study the Bible.

Raymond was a great believer in Jesus, so we know where he is, present with his Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ!

Rest well Raymond! You are missed already!  Praying for your family to know and feel God’s comfort and love !
