My deepest condolences to the entire family and friends. Please know that you are in our prayers. Take comfort knowing that God knows best and He will see you through this difficult time.
With deepest sympathies to Ray’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Ray on WWB. Over the years when catching up with friends and former coworkers that worked on the project, Ray’s name is one that almost always comes up in conversation because he was such a great person. He always had a smile on his face and was brightening someone’s day. He will be missed.

Sharmali, my condolences to you and Christopher🙏🏽🙏🏽
We are continuing to pray for you all! Ray was a great man, Alpha brother, and friend to our family. We are so sorry for this loss. May God comfort and give peace as only He can. - Vereen Family
Every time I write something, I delete it because it just doesn't seem adequate. Ray was a wonderful colleague who always put forth his best. He had a large but gentle soul. I only had the opportunity to know Ray since he joined VDOT but many here have known him for 20+ years. Their memories are all similar to my own experience, a person that added great value to any project he was working on. Ray will be missed greatly. Prayers for Shamarli, Christopher and all suffering a void with Ray's passing.
My sincerest condolences to the Kollock family. I worked with Ray at DC Water, and he was one of the most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be greatly missed. I am very sorry for your loss.
One of many great memories. H…

One of many great memories. He will certainly be missed!
We are praying for comfort and strength for the Kollock Family. May the presence and peace of the Lord fill the giant void that Ray's homegoing has left for family and friends.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I pray for peace and comfort to you and your loved ones at this difficult time. His gentle soul will always be in our hearts. Ray is not just my manager, he is a close friend and brother. I won't forget his smile, and support all the time. We laughed together, worked hard together, talk all the time. It was a good and unforgettable time that we spent. I'm going to miss him too. Ray is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts

It took so long because I didn't know what to say. Still don't. I pray for strength for your wife and son. It was a shock when I heard the news. My only hope is that those who knew you hang on to your memory and show that they do remember you by offering the same grace and meekness that I have seen you show before. You were one of the good ones. Miss you folk!

Feels like yesterday when I interviewed Ray about the John G. Lewis Memorial Bridge project. Little did I know, it’d be the last time we’d speak.

Two months later, to learn of his passing, I sit in disbelief. Wow…you just never know.

He was young. A bright and positive spirit, always smiling, always upbeat and brought a sense of calm to the most stressful situations. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him and he will definitely be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Kollock family and friends. I will keep you all in my prayers🙏🏾

May God bless Rays lovely wife and his sweet son Christopher. Only words can express the sadness that I feel regarding Rays passing. I can't take away the pain you feel but I pray that God will keep you in his care.
Shamarli,

I’m saddened by the news of Raymond's passing and am praying for you and Christopher in this challenging time.

Shamarli, my deepest sympathies for you, Christopher and the Kollock family. Your work family is here to support you during this difficult time.
Ray was a rare soul! As most everyone has mentioned, his great smile and personality endeared him to most everyone he met, including myself.
As believers in Jesus Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Shamarli and Christopher, may the peace of almighty God, comfort and keep you through this difficult season. 🙏🏽
