Raymond C Kinchen, 45, of Pleasant Valley Road passed away Friday, August 23, 2019. Raymond was born in Bellows Falls on May 5, 1974, the son of Jackie Smith and Raymond Bashaw. He attended Springfield High School and was owner and operator of Ray Rays Snak Shak. He was a musician who enjoyed playing the guitar, cooking, and cracking jokes.

Surviving is Jackie Fowler and step father Gene of Springfield; step father Paul Spicer of Springfield; his fiancé Sabrina Farrar; his children Mary Beth Kinchen, Brittney Ballard, and Colin Young all of Connecticut; his brother Paul Spicer of Springfield; his sister Dee Smith of Charlestown, NH; step sisters Vickie Spicer, Valerie Ovitt, Brittanie Fowler, and Terry Rogers all of Springfield; and grandchildren Vanessa and Wyatt of Connecticut. He is predeceased by his father and his step +sister Bonnie Spicer.

There will be a celebration of Raymond’s life at a later date, to be announced.
