Raymond Everett, 76, of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed on August 25, 2023. William was born on March 17, 1947.

He spent most of his life in Liberty Missouri, where he attended high school and raised his daughter.

Raymond was a free-spirit and an old soul. His early love of music was inevitable in a family of musicians. He loved live music, art, animals, the outdoors, walking barefoot, and anything vintage or tie-dye. While he had many passions, all of them pale in comparison to the greatest love of his life, his daughter Jessica Sumpter.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Anna and Harvey; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ruby; step-grandparents, Bill and Barb and father-in-law, Mike Wilson.

Raymond is survived by his two grand daughters, Emma and Anna Sumpter and their father, Ivan; his wife Sue, his stepfather William Henry Jr.; and numerous beloved family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Local Musician’s Union of Kansas City, MO.

Raymond’s intimate celebration of life for family will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at 14329 LIV 238 Chillicothe, MO 64601. We will never forget his infectious spirit and love for his family.
