It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Raymond (Ray) Cardi, who left us on August 11, 2025 from natural causes. Born on March 1, 1952, Ray lived a life filled with love. His impact on his family, friends, and community was substantial and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ray was a devoted father to his two children: Trey Cardi, born in 2003 and Ava Cardi, born in 2006. Trey and Ava’s shared memories and love for their father are carrying them through this difficult time. Ray was also a dearly loved brother to Lil Lee (Terry Lee) and Billy Bacardi. His loss leaves a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide the lives of his family members and loved ones.

Ray was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Raymond Cardi. The values they instilled in him were reflected in his actions throughout his life, and we are truly grateful to know he has been reunited with them. 

In the community, Ray was a talented actor, having graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre Production from the University of Arizona in 2001. He was also deeply devoted to physical fitness at the gym, where he gained a community of friends. This community further expanded his devotion to his faith, which he found solace in during the last few years of his life.

As we remember Ray and the life he shared with us, we are honored to know he is no longer in pain, found peace in his passing, and was deeply loved in this life.
