I am so sorry to hear about Rays passing.  I knew him long ago but loved him always. He was the best of us.
I met Ray at the gym on Bell Rd. about a year ago. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I will miss our talks and his warm smile. And the workout tips! My heart goes out to all his loved ones at this time. Rest in peace Ray.

Ray was my bestie. He made laugh until I cried. He was ever the overgrown kid playing video games with me and didn’t rat me out when I snuck the Reese’s he left for my mom.

I envy you, Trey and Ava, for having such a fun loving dad. I often wished he was mine. He remains front and center in my favorite childhood memories. The voices, the silly names, the wild antics.

He will be dearly missed.

Very sorry for your loss, it’s hard losing a family member.
Truly a beautiful soul whose absence will be missed
Ray began attending our Bible study only four weeks before he went to be with the Lord. His enthusiasm he had for the Lord in those four weeks was inspiring. Ray quickly became the man everyone wanted to listen to because the Lord was doing so much in his heart so quickly. He spoke often about how much he loved his children and how much he wanted this love he had found to fill their hearts as well. Just two weeks before he passed away, all the men gathered around him and laid their hands on him and prayed that the Lord would heal him from the pain that ravaged his body. My first thought when I heard that he was no longer with us was that our prayer had been answered and he was pain-free and in the arms of Jesus. I only wish we had more time together. We will never forget him.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ray and his family. Our children have been good friends for many years. I remember him as being a wonderful father!
Blessings,
Gloria Fearon

So sorry to hear about your dad’s passing, Lots of Love from our family to yours, Trey 💕
Sending love and thoughts of peace to Ray, Trey, Ava and family, friends and loved ones. I didn't know Ray but he raised a exceptional son. 💜
I have known Ray for over 20 years from the gym on Tatum, PV. His total focus of his from the time I met Ray was on the love and value of his two children Trey & Ava. When Tammy was pregnant with Trey & then again with Ava brought so much joy to him. The best was  when he would bring them to the gym and he would always bring them to talk to us! Always having come the gym his enthusiasm never waned for the pride he possessed for Trey & Ava. He conversations were always about them and their activities and his concerns about their financial welfare which was his life’s goal and which he definitely fulfilled!! Just a loving man centered in his family’s welfare and anyone around him he could HELP.  No more physical pain & suffering which was brutal on him. Now with God🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Ray started coming to our Men’s Bible study 6 weeks or so ago. We all loved him from the time he came to us. His hearts desire was to learn everything about Jesus and he was always willing to help any of us at the gym. We will all miss him and his smile.
I met Ray at the gym about 2 years ago … and can honestly say he was my gym best friend…. Every time he came into the gym it was like seeing my own family…sonetimes we would just stand there and talk instead of workout …  I loved Ray dearly and I always told him that … my heart is heavy as i can’t fathom him not showing up the the turf anymore when I’m there  Ray was one of the nicest people I knew   May he RIP   … ❤️🙏
I grew up seeing Ray quite frequently due to my friendship with Trey. He would host me overnight without complaint, take us out to dinner, cook us breakfast, and share in our laughter. My parents and I were always grateful for Ray to provide a space where Trey and I could spend time as young children, knowing we would be safe and taken care of. We will miss him dearly❤️.
