Raymond's obituary

Raymond Edward Bradbury, lived a life defined by resilience and unwavering love for family and friends. Born in Bethpage, New York on June 30, 1972, Ray passed away on November 14, 2023, in West Babylon, New York, leaving a void in the hearts of those who were touched by his enduring spirit. Ray, along with their mother Carolyn, was a devoted parent to Kaitlyn, Patrick, Ryan, and granddaughter Kiana of Kingston, Pennsylvania. He was cherished as the beloved brother of Kevin Bradbury and his wife Melinda of Huntington Station, New York, as well as Diane Erdem and her husband Oz of Mount Sinai, New York, and Elizabeth Bradbury of Putney, Vermont.

Preceded in death by his parents Raymond J Bradbury and Helen E Bradbury of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, Raymond will be remembered affectionately by his nieces and nephews, Joseph, Matthew, Ezgi, Izel, Dilara, and Destina.

Ray found solace in the outdoors through his love for camping. A die-hard fan of the New York Jets and the New York Islanders, he brought unwavering enthusiasm to the sports he loved. His dedication to his teams mirrored the love he had for his family and friends, creating connections that will endure beyond his earthly presence. Music and laughter were the soundtrack to Ray’s life. His ability to find joy in the simplest of moments left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of sharing those experiences with him. A true animal lover, Ray found companionship and joy in the company of his dog, Thor. Thor’s unconditional love added warmth and comfort to Ray’s days. In loving memory of a gentle soul.
