Raymond (Jack) Arthur Bauer, aged 81, of Bear Lake, MI, passed away on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021. Jack was born in Detroit, MI to Arthur and Virginia Bauer on December 24th, 1939. He attended Midwestern Baptist College where he met his wife, Beverly J. Bauer. The two were married on September 15th, 1962. Together they had seven children and ten grandchildren. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Manistee, MI; Sunday School Superintendent at Grace Baptist Church in Saginaw, MI; and a man of deep faith. He enjoyed woodworking, cars, mystery stories, cooking shows, and British Television. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Virginia and Arthur Bauer, and is survived by his sister Joan, his wife Beverly, his children Rick, Gary (and wife Nicolle), Brad, Barbara, Michael, Stephen, and Brent, and his grandson Brandon and several other grandchildren.  A private burial was held on August 19th, 2021 at 2PM at Fairview cemetery in Bear Lake. A memorial will be held on Friday August 27th, 2021 at 2PM at Heritage Baptist Church in Manistee, Michigan. Jack devoted his entire life to providing for and serving his family. He spent his final years caring for his wife as she battled Parkinson's disease. He led the family through several difficult times with a steadfast resolve and quiet, deep love for them all.
