Ray Earl Parsons Jr., 72, of Raytown, Missouri passed away September 15, 2022 at Lee’s Summit hospital.  Ray was born on July 18, 1950 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Ray and Hazel Parsons. 

He is survived by his wife Melody, children John Ard and family, daughter Christie Parsons and five grand children.  Additionally, sister Dee Morgan and family, and Aunt Erma Morgan of Gardener, KS.  

 Ray was raised in Burlingame Kansas by Lois and Andrew Parsons and was a proud member of First Church of the Nazarene in Lee’s Summit.  Ray, a.k.a. Bubba or Junior, was the kind of guy who could always be counted on to help whether it would be to shovel a neighbors sidewalk or donate blood or bone marrow for people in need.  Ray impacted many lives and will be dearly missed.
