Ray's obituary
Ray Lozada passed on the morning of January 6, 2023 at his home in Shallowater, Texas at the age of 63, after his robust battle with cancer, surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of Rosie Lozada. Stubborn son to Jessie and Juanita Lozada. Loving father of Arianna, Joseph and Lindy Lozada. Cherished grandfather to Marcus, Mario, Isabella, Michael, Christopher, Cayden, Madeline, Luke, Caleb, and Roselina. Survived by his sister, Mary, and brothers Jessie, Jr. and Armando and countless nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lozada.
Ray was born March 19, 1959 in Brownfield, TX. He was proud of his GED he received in 1982 due to his self-implicated adversity. His great achievement was being father to three wonderful children, whom he constantly boasted and strongly encouraged them to seek their dreams.
Ray lived a full and generous life. He would say his favorite past times were golfing, fishing, and hunting (even though it sometimes too him 3 shots). He was proud of his construction business and leaves behind his greatest legacy, Skyblast Fireworks. Ray's greatest passion was doing these things with family and teaching his grandchildren. He showed his devotion to Christ through his Catholic ministry.
A rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 10th and 11th at Sanders Memorial Chapel. The Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 in St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church in Shallowater. Graveside services will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
