Ray Lankford died on January 22, 2021 at the age of 86. He was born on June 17, 1934 in Stateline, Mississippi at his family home. The fifth of seven children, he finished junior college and joined the United States Air Force at the end of the Korean War where he served his country for six years. He then converted to civil service with GEEIA where his accomplishments include wiring Cape Canaveral for the first …
