Raul Reyes, Jr aka Paul Reyes, age 65, passed away in his home on February 6, 2020 in Austin, Texas. Raul is survived by his son, Nathan Paul Rose of Erie, CO; grandson, Hayden Rose of Berthoud, CO; mother, Lydia Longoria Reyes Mitchell of San Antonio, TX; sister, Linda Reyes Bepko (Jeff) of Woodbridge, VA; brother, Bernie Reyes of San Antonio, TX; aunt, Natalia "Sister Bernadine" of Boerne, TX; and niece and nephews Casey, Cody and Collin. Raul also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Raul Reyes, Sr., whom he loved and adored, and Edward Mitchell, his confident and friend.

Raul was born August 23, 1954 in El Paso, TX, and graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, San Antonio, TX in 1972. He studied at Southwest Texas State University, receiving his degree in Business, and worked at RES as a fleet manager for over 10 years, which he very much enjoyed. In his spare time, Raul enjoyed traveling, sports, drawing, billiards, and music. His infectious smile and laughter brightened your day and he made you feel like you were the only important person in the room.

A few words to describe Raul are kind and caring, warm and compassionate, funny, witty, intelligent, talented, stubborn, and a little bit crazy. Raul is now with our Lord and Savior but couldn’t be in a better place, although he will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
