Background
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my father, Raul López. He died Saturday, December 26, 2020.
The services for pop will be on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alvarez Funeral Home, 240 Mt. Prospect Avenue in Newark, NJ. Final viewing will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., followed by a mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 89 Ridge Street, Newark, NJ at 10:00 a.m.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help my family during this time. We appreciate your thoughtfulness, and we ask for prayers that we may find peace concerning this tragedy. We would also appreciate monetary donations to help pay for funeral expenses. Feel free to drop off your monetary gift at the funeral home or donate here.
