Raul Hurtado Jr., 38, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, in El Campo, Texas.

“Jr.” as many of his family members had affectionately known him, was born on December 13, 1985, in Laredo, Texas and lived most of his life in Zapata, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Maria Hurtado, who loved him dearly.

Mr. Hurtado is survived by his wife, Amanda Hurtado; his daughters, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Zoey and Shelby Hurtado; sisters, Rosa Angela Hurtado, Gabriela Walker, and Daniela Hurtado; his father, Raul Hurtado; and by many friends and family who remember him fondly.

Jr. was a great son, brother, father, husband and friend. He was a Manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts. Everyone who knew Raul knew that he was kind, caring, funny, and was always willing to help his family and friends. This webpage is in memory of Jr and all he has accomplished in life. May he have greeted his mother after crossing and may he rest in peace.
