Shonda's obituary

RaShonda D. Bacon, affectionately known as “Shonda,” and widely loved as Fashionable RaRa, passed away on July 23, 2025, while on a trip in Fort Bend, Texas. She was 28 years old and a resident of Mansfield, Texas.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, RaShonda’s life was marked by brilliance, beauty, and boundless creativity. From a young age, she radiated light—through her love of singing and modeling, her vibrant spirit, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. She began her early education in St. Louis before relocating to Jacksonville, Arkansas in 2006, where she attended Warren Dupree Elementary, Jacksonville Middle School, and graduated with honors from Jacksonville High School. In addition to her academic success, she was a gifted athlete, excelling on the basketball court and earning the admiration of her peers and coaches.

With a deep calling to serve others, RaShonda pursued a path in healthcare. She attended Eastern College in Little Rock, where she became a certified medical assistant. After moving to Texas, she continued to follow her passion by building a career as a radiologic technologist and notary—blending her passion for healthcare with her desire to help others. A true creative spirit with a flair for fashion, she inspired thousands through her online presence as a fashion influencer on her popular platform, "Fashionable RaRa". In addition to sharing her signature style, RaShonda was deeply committed to uplifting others. Her heart for helping students led her to create RAD Tech, a social media page dedicated to simplifying complex modules of radiologic technology school—making learning more accessible for aspiring technologists.

RaShonda’s faith was nurtured through her membership at Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington, TX. RaShonda touched many lives with her kindness, joy, and boundless energy. She will be remembered not only for her accomplishments, but for the love, warmth, and inspiration she gave so freely to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, grace, and service that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
