Raquel Purdy, 55, of Jacksonville, passed away on October 23, 2022 after a fierce battle with Lung Cancer.

Raquel was born on May 11, 1967 to Manuel and Margarita in Lima, Peru. After graduating from high school in Peru, she decided to explore and flew herself to Japan where she lived for a few years with her younger brother. In 1998, she met her husband Loren in Japan, and they wed in 2001, going on to have 2 children, Kylie Purdy (9) and Joseph Purdy (21). When Raquel had Joseph, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. She is survived by Loren Purdy (Husband), Kylie Purdy (Daughter), Joseph Purdy (Son). There will be a celebration of life at December 20 at the Gayoso Govea residence in Lima, Peru
