"The Oracle'' Minister Raphael Cooley Morrison was born December 14, 1958. He is the son born to the Late Bishop A. W. Morrison and Lady Naomi Morrison. He was later mothered by Lady Jean Morrison.

Raphael was born in Norristown, PA & raised in Chicago, Illinois. In later years Raphael relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

Raphael loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was extremely instrumental in assisting his father, the late Bishop A. W. Morrison in his ministry at Greater House of God, in Chicago, Illinois for many years.

Raphael, a man of many talents, was most known in his career as the number one salesman. He was gifted in this line of work and was a dedicated employee.

Raphael was a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He will forever be remembered for the infamous message ‘WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES, 24 LITTLE HOURS‘. What a profound message among many. He was a Theologian, a Bible Scholar, a Prolific Singer, Writer, Poet, and he touched the lives of many throughout his life tenure. Raphael is currently a member of The Empowerment Temple, under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Adams.

Raphael, was a Praise and Worship Leader, Song Writer, a Talented Drummer, and known for his contribution to the renowned singing group ‘The Morrison Echoes‘. He is a Producer and helped to spearhead the Morrison Family Project. A family project that was created to help leave a legacy of Morrison's talent. Raphael was also the talk show host of Universal Gospel Music. (A Syndicated Radio Show)

Raphael aka (BALL OF FUN) as we affectionately called him, was a family man, he loved his children, Naomi, Rayphal Jr., & Bethany. He later shared this love with his stepchildren Simone, Diamond, Dominque, Dominisha. He was currently helping to raise his grandchildren whom he loved very much, (Khalil, D‘Angelo, Iyanna) & Jaleesa. He has been very instrumental in the life of his granddaughter, Deja, and has 2 great-grandchildren Ayhayn & Kelli. 

Raphael was currently married to Yolanda Gaines Morrison. He was formerly married to Pauline Watson Morrison, & Karen (Sessoms) Morrison whom he remained friends with throughout his life, they are both the mothers of his children.

Raphael loved his nieces and nephews and had a very special relationship with each of them. Jasmine (Carl), David Jr., Dedrick, Devin, Stephen Jr. (Sheff), Dr. Jeanna, Timothy, Dontay, Ashley ( Jarad), Stephanie (Chris), Albert 3rd, Whitney & Amber.

Raphael was preceded in death by his parents, the Late Bishop A. W. Morrison, Lady Naomi, & Lady Jean Morrison, Brother, Minister Albert Morrison Jr., two sisters, Uwanna, & Eunicetine Morrison, and his loving grandparents, Deacon & Lady Blue.

His Siblings will forever cherish his memory, David, Stephen ( Lisa-Fiancé), Gershom ( Renee) Desiree (Dorian) & Anthony (Kelly) & Sister-in-laws Kira, Cheryl (Oumi), & Dr. Cindy Morrison.

Raphael aka ‚‘‘The Oracle“ will be remembered & missed by so many that loved him. Rest well our Dear Brother, you are now in the arm of the Lord. Until we meet again!
