Randy you will be missed. I am glad I had the chance to meet you and work at two different jobs with you, each day was a pleasure.

Randy was such a good friend. We worked together with VBS, Adventurer, potlucks in church. He invited us into his family picnics at the sky beach, played sports with the kids. He gave our daughter her first job. Dya and her mom have always been especial to my mom. We will miss Randy always. We love you Dya and Jacob.

I was devastated hearing the news. I had just talked to him a week prior and he told me how great of a young man I was becoming. He was always so loving and caring to my mother and I growing up attending El Cajon Seventh Day Adventist Church he was always a hard working loving man who put his all into feeding the church and those around him. This made me shed some tears because I know how well he took care of his family. We’ll always love and remember Randy and what he has done. I myself and the La Mesa Adventist Church and Youth will always be welcoming for the 2 of you. With lots of love and Prayers
Pavel.

We do not know Randy personally; but we do know his older brother Bill, who is a wonderful human being. We are so sorry for this loss and our prayers and loving thoughts are with the family during this sad time. May your loving memories of him sustain you. God’s hand is upon you and will give you the strength and courage you need.
Peace,
Ellie and John Izzo

I only knew Randy through my church The Salvation Army. Randy worked tirelessly, unselfishly & oh so generally for us at the Army. I have known Randy for many years and each year as we came back together for Christmas work or my hubby and I would go eat wherever he was so we could say hi he always had the time for us. He was one of the most selfless giving people I have known. You will be missed my friend but your legacy at The Salvation Army will live on for a long time! See you when I see you!

Randy was my manager at my very first job at home town buffet in El Cajon back in 2005. I am never going to forget his amazing personality, his work ethic, and his desire to help others. Every now and then we used to sit down and do a little arm wrestling contest, I could beat all of the guys but I could never beat Randy since he was very strong. I remember my last day at the restaurant he organized a surprise going away party in the back, he bought me an ice cream cake and said very kind farewell words to me; I still remember him saying “do not be afraid to comeback to San Diego because you will always have a job here”. My heart is shattered because since I came back to San Diego I wanted to see Randy again but I didn’t have the chance, at least here on earth but I am sure we will meet again.
Thank you Randy, your leadership and tireless work ethic helped to shape me into the leader I am today.
May God bless your family and give you eternal rest.
Love you my friend.

Randy, we hardly knew ye! Your presence always upped the fun level at your brother Rich's poker parties. Win or lose, you were always in good spirits and at the most recent, serving up delicious food from your newly minted catering company. You will be dearly missed but not forgotten. With love, James and Roy

There are no words for the legacy Randy has left on me. His shining personality will live on in my heart. Life sure is not the same without him, but the hope of our reunion in Heaven will carry me through this loss.
Dya and Jacob, I love you dearly. I pray God’s blessings and peace over you.
Rich, and all the Young family, I am so very sorry for this unexpected loss.

I was extremely sad to learn of Randy's passing. I first met Randy and Dya many years ago when my Son, Jeremy and I were in attendance at the El Cajon Seventh Day Adventist Church. We were able to re-connect when they began to attend the La Mesa Seventh Day Adventist Church! They came walking up to me and such a wonderful surprise! Randy was such a beautiful Christian Man and he became invaluable to our church. I will miss him. See you soon my Brother in Christ!
Love,
Nancy

It is with deep sadness I write about Randy's passing. Randy was not only my little brother but one of my best friends. After my first marriage and before I married Patty, he was my roommate for 5 years & helped me raise my daughters during that time. Our families spent lots of time together as well as vacations. This picture is from Cabo san Lucas were Randy, Dya & Jacob joined my family vacation in 2019. My kids affectionately name him "Uncle Cookie" as he was famous for walking around at work and passing out fresh cookies. He will be missed by every life he has touched in this world. We love you Randy!
