Me desperté pensando en ti tío, voy al comedor y mi mamá también me habla de ti, la verdad teníamos tiempo sin hacerlo, ahorita me aparece este mensaje y me dio mucho sentimiento, es verano y ya no viniste a México al mar.

I think of Randy a lot and his family.  Randy did so much to help me through some difficult times as he did many others.  He indeed had a very big heart.  He helped me after surgeries with exercises for physical therapy, taking me to appointments and bringing wonderful food, including what he prepared.  He always shed light into some dark days.  I recently read something I will quote which reminded me of him.

"God's ultimate providence over our lives places us where He wants us and when He wants us there.  Each of us is born at the exact moment in time that God has ordained.  Our times are in His hands.  We are here on earth for a reason."

And - certainly Randy fulfilled all the plans God had for his life when he called him home.

Sandy Brown, Santee, CA. I knew Randy a long time. I first met him when he was an assistant manager at Black Angus in El Cajon, CA. He was an amazing, giving man. He knew God and loved Him. I loved him and I miss him so much.
Dya & Jacob   Randy was a part of our networking group for a short period time, and during that time he added so much energy and enthusiasm to our group.   Always smiling !   Grateful to have known him    Keeping you and your family in my prayers !
Randy, I know you are smiling at all of us as we share our thoughts of you and shed our tears.  You loved everything about life, your family, friends, your faith, your new catering business, and anyone or thing you came into contact with.  Your smile, friendship, infectious energy, and enthusiasm touched everyone that came within your orbit.  I truly believe that if everyone that knew and loved you came to a memorial for you it would have to be held at Petco Park.  I was honored to know you even though it was only for a short time.  Thank you for truly being a shining light in the lives of so many.
I was friends with Randy years ago when I lived in San Diego, but lost touch when I moved away. I have so many wonderful memories of our friendship. I only briefly knew Dya, but my heart aches for you. My deepest sympathy to you and Jacob. The world lost one of the best, far too soon….
It is so sad to hear of Randy's passing last month. Although our friendship and business relationship was short- he was a huge impact. So full of life with a positive attitude that was contagious. Everyone was smiling when around him. He will be greatly missed. My heart and prayers to his family in this time.
I am so sorry for everyone's loss of Randy. He was such a nice guy and he will be missed by so many of his family and friends. There are no words that can make this better. Just know he was loved by so many and he loved all of you right back.
I met Randy for the first time when was the assistant manager at Black Angus in El Cajon. I had been served the wrong lunch. He not only made it right immediately but he gave me a free lunch for my next visit. He was so sweet and he had a great sense of humor. Hearing of his passing was a horrible shock. I miss him so much. His family is in my prayers. Sandy Brown El Camino Grace church

1980, San Diego, CA, USA
Randy has been my closest friend for the past 41 years. We met as freshmen at Crawford High School in San Diego. We played football together, we made countless trips to the Colorado River as friends, then eventually we brought our own families on vacations as well (together). We laughed, we cried together, we shared all of our successes and failures with each other. Each one of our children Nathan, Alyssa and Megan grew up together, and they always called him "Uncle Randy". In the last few years, Randy became an even bigger part of my families life. Since I moved to Florida, Randy took it upon himself to constantly check on my mother(Barbara) and my sister (Jennifer). Each person who met Randy is a better person because of that meeting. I will miss Randy everyday for the rest of my life. I promise everyday to try and be a better person to honor Randy.. Love and miss you my brother. Your legacy will live on forever.

I first met Randy through his sister Donna in Junior High. What I remember most was that he was always smiling and what a great smile he had. My heartfelt sympathies to his family for a life taken too soon.
