Red's obituary

Randy Sronce (Red) was born in Elgin on August 6, 1960. He was raised with his two brothers and his sister in Valley View, a place they still call home. Through parties he attended early in life and meeting people during his walks later in life, he never met strangers – only new friends. Because of this, he became known as the Mayor of Valley View - another name he was proud to use. Growing up and growing old, he enjoyed selling nightcrawlers, fishing, and helping people in the Valley with low cost yard maintenance and any other work that people needed help with. The final months of his life, he had a strong desire to get to know God more – this gave him peace. The doctors had a strict regimen of treatments that they wanted to give him, but God spared him all that physical turmoil by bringing him home to Heaven on January 15, 2026. He was preceded in this life by his parents Thomas Eugene and Mary, and a child who was lost at birth. He is survived by his brothers Darryl and Tommy. A sister, Cindy who helped care for him. Two adult children, Dustin and Diane. And Red’s ex wife Cindy Carlson.

A Celebration of Life will take place at H.E.L.P.S. Ministry, 6n539 Tuscola Avenue in St. Charles, Illinois 60174 on January 31st, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
