Randy Jay Evans July 28, 1959 – November 12, 2025

Randy Jay Evans passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 66, with his daughters by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Sarah (Brown) Evans; sister Jennifer Evans; and brother Allen Evans.

Randy was born in Maryville, Missouri, and graduated from Princeton High School in 1977. He worked primarily in inventory control positions and spent the last decade of his career at Kansas State University’s facilities department, retiring in 2024. Known for his witty personality and love of a good laugh, Randy enjoyed spending time with his daughters, Kali Evans of Key Largo, Florida, and Haley Evans of Belton, Missouri; listening to music; reading; following college and Friday night high school football on the radio; and hard-core TV watching. Fall was his favorite season, and he loved watching the migration of waterfowl, particularly Canadian geese.

Randy is also survived by his granddaughters, Kylee and Nora Bennett; grandson Jude Pineiro; greatgrandson Niko Herbert; sisters Cheryl Fuston and Kathy Jo Evans-Krull; and brothers Rusty and Tony Evans, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside services: Fairley Cemetery, Princeton, Missouri, at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 22, followed by lunch at Toot Toot Family Restaurant.
