Randy's obituary

Randy Leonard Bridges, 66, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with vascular dementia. Born on July 2, 1959, in Okinawa, Japan, Randy lived a life marked by perseverance, humor, and a steadfast love for his family and Christ.

Randy served in the United States Armed Forces and was honorably and medically discharged, an experience that showcased his resilience and strength. In December of 1980, he married the love of his life, Debbie, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, memories, and three beloved children; Joshua, Amanda and Paige. Randy also had two children from a previous marriage; Tandy and Brad. Randy was a proud Dad and Papa, leaving behind 9 grandchildren; Tristan, Kasen, Emma, Parker, Grayson, Luken, Hudson, Emerson and Benson.

A talented craftsman, Randy owned and operated his own custom paint and body business for more than a decade, where his attention to detail and artistry shone through. Beyond work, he found joy in motocross racing with his son Joshua, golfing, fishing, playing guitar and watching COPS.

Family and friends remember Randy for his unwavering positivity and ability to find humor even during life’s toughest challenges. A Celebration of Life will be held at North Point Church in Burleson, Texas, on October 17, 2025, at 4 p.m.
