Randall's obituary

Randall Ray Whitehead, 59, of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away on July 1, 2024. Born on December 20, 1964, in Niceville, Florida, he was the son of the late Beulah Bishop and Albert Whitehead. Randall honorably served in the Marine Corps from 1978 to 1982, dedicating four years to his country with steadfast commitment.

Following his military service, Randall embarked on a diverse career path. He drove trucks across the country, which satisfied his love for the open road. Later, he ventured into the hospitality industry, operating a restaurant before embracing the challenges of entrepreneurship. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he took immense pride in his professional achievements.

Randall's passions extended beyond his career. He was an avid motorcycle rider and loved spending time at the lake. His mornings were cherished moments, often starting with a cup of coffee, and he was known to entertain family and friends with karaoke sessions. Above all, Randall adored spoiling his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

He is survived by his brothers, Ronald, Kent, and Curly Whitehead; his children, Jan Buckelew (Todd Buckelew), Randy Whitehead (Danielle Whitehead), Logan Whitehead (Kenzie Whitehead), Jerry Whitehead, Dallas Rose, and Zander Zachos; and his grandchildren, Tristin and Allie Buckelew, Raelyn, and Rynleigh Whitehead.

A service to celebrate Randall’s life will be held at Sanctuary of Praise, 96 3rd Street, Midland City, Alabama, on Monday, July 8th. The viewing will take place from 1-2 PM, followed by the service from 2-3 PM.

The funeral arrangements are being handled in Eufaula, Alabama, where Randall spent his final years. His legacy as a loving father, grandfather, and a proud Marine will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
