One of very many great times with Randall as we grew up together was the time when Randall asked me to go to Indy 500 with his parents which I Loved dearly, his Mom was related to Roger McCluskey Indy driver and in that race Roger was following the leader in 2 place with 2 laps to go and spun out in Parnelli Jones oil he was leaking but they would not black flag the leader. At 12 years old at the time, I will never ever forget that first 500 followed by many more. Randall was a GREAT GUY! I loved him like a brother.
I will miss him dearly, as we spent so much time together when we were young and dumb! RIP

The moment they saw me in my dress. We were so honored to have Randall officiate our wedding, he knew exactly what to say. I only had Randall as my dad for a short time, but I feel so fortunate to have had him at all and to be a part of his family and legacy. 💗
Patrice and the Sheilds Family,

I am so sorry for your loss! My words are not adequate to express the sorrow I feel. Randy will always be in your heart! Cherish the laughs, the stories, the smiles; it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.

I am sorry that I cannot be there, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Heartfelt condolences!!

Wishing I had the words to express how grateful we are to have so many memories! Visits in SD ,Indiana ,Illinois and now Maryland over the years as well as a few great camping trips! We attended the Wheatland Music Festival in Michigan together for 10 years. Our annual Maple Syrup weekend at Pleasant Vally Farm have always been a highlight of our years!! Work and play combined!!
We both feel so blessed to have shared these times with Randall and Patrice and many memories with our children together also!
Peace and love to his entire family!💕💕
I am so sorry for your family's loss! Randall was a man with a BIG heart, contagious sense of humor, and a wonderful story teller! I have many IU memories with him of tailgating, dinners, and even dancing! He's created such a lasting legacy for you all to carry with you and pass down for more generations to come. 🙏❤
Patrice, Toby and the Shield family. I am sorry for your loss and my deepest condolences. Reed & Ferial Schmutte

I had just been in a motorcycle accident and Mr. and Mrs. Shields visited me post surgery. Mr. Shields brought me arnica! He told me how to take it and, listening to his advice, I did so. The nurses and even the doc were shocked at how little bruising and swelling I had post op. I have used arnica ever since.

I am so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in the wonderful life he lived. I am thinking about you all.

Mr. Randall Shields was one of a kind. Always full of wit and easy to crack a smile. I've witnessed first hand how much he cared for his family at many celebrations, vacations and holidays. If there's one thing I can say it would be he raised his children as best as anyone could. His legacy will always live strong within them. He truly will be missed.

Chris
