Randy's obituary
Randall Corey James Levi (1957-2025)
Randy was born on January 9, 1957 in Beaumont, Texas to Llewellyn and Nilda Levi. He attended Texas A&M University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1980 and another Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology/ Industrial Distribution in 1982. He went to work at Summers/Rexel where he spent 15 years, starting as a trainee and leaving as a regional operations manager. He began work at The Reynold’s Company in 2000 where he spent 25 years, retiring as Corporate Operations Manager after his ALS diagnosis. Randy took great pride in his support of numerous branches across Texas and Louisiana and considered many of his coworkers close friends.
“Grandy” loved spending time with his grandkids most of all and was active in this role. He also enjoyed biking, collecting and antiquing, vintage cars, music, being out on the lake and a cold Bud Light with lots of limes.
Survivors include his eldest daughter, Lauren Baker, and her husband, Danny, as well as their two children, Teddy and Margot, of Dallas, and his youngest daughter, Megan Levi of New York City.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Lou and Nilda Levi.
A celebration of life at Randy’s favorite spot for “fellowship” over the last 25 years will be held on Wednesday, January 7th from 4-6PM at Bronco's Sports Bar & Grill in Hurst (900 Airport Fwy #166)
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the ALS Association to fund research towards a cure would be greatly appreciated.
