Happy Birthday, Daddy.
We miss calling you to sing.
Happy Father's Day Dad. Wish you were here. I love you.
I am Steve Sheffield I am responding to the opportunity to say words about Randy.. We attended church together for many years we had mutual friends from his Salem high school. We stayed overnight at each other‘s houses from time to time. When I moved to California I used to stop in Medford to meet Randy for lunch. I will miss our friendship.

When my children were young and we were living in Salem, we went to visit Randy in Medford. He took us to the Applegate area and taught us how to pan for gold. It was pretty exciting when we really did get gold - which we still have today. Randy had taken along some fishing poles and let Teresa and David try their luck. I don't remember a fish going home with us that day, but everyone had a great time. That area is now under water because of a dam.
Randy had a group of friends in Salem who all had motorcycles. This group of buddies would get together and take one day road trips. He took me on two of the rides. It was fun, exciting and very noisy. I was pretty impressed that he would take his little sister for something like that.

I have known Randy since 1965 when we were both employees at Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital (Asante). Randy had a motorcycle that was awesome and he loved it. I had a very dear friend and since I liked them both so much I decided to introduce them. Well, he picked her up on his motorcycle and they drove off......They later married and had their beautiful daughter, Shiranda (named from Shirley and Randy) who they both adored. Their lives drifted apart and ended in divorce but Shiranda was always a huge part of their lives. Randy was always a very special person and I was proud to be a friend of his.

A Peaceful Moment. I think Lori took this picture as she is the photographer in the family. :)
