Dear Auntie Randa, you were beautiful inside out. I did not meet that often but I remember the times I spent with you were very special. Your laugh was all over the place. You brought joy to everyone you met. You loved life like no other. Your support for higher educational degrees and adventurous life was amazing. Mama Sawsan had very pleasant time every time she visited you in the US, she liked your joyful and courageous spirit. We will miss you so much. May your beautiful soul rest in peace. I hope you are in a better place with no more pain and suffer.

Amto, you were one badass lady. You will always live on in our hearts. I miss you, we all do. It hurts me to think about you not being here anymore. I have been flooded with memories of you since I was a kid ever since I knew you were leaving us here on Earth. I don't believe in God or Heaven but I hope you're somewhere cuddling Simba and relaxing. I love you and always will.

dear auntie,
I hope you’re seeing and feeling good things, maybe you’re flying like a colorful butterfly or a beautiful hummingbird. You studied interior design and it speaks so much to your elegant and artistic taste in everything. You have an eye for beauty and you always make sure we heard it. You’re a very caring person, but you’re comfortable expressing rebellion, it took you a while but I think you finally reached some level where you just said what’s on your mind.
Growing up in Jordan I always heard you on the phone with mom. Even back to when we had to call you from a big box computer phone. Your voice always floated around the house and our ears got used to it. We were always so eager, so excited to know what news you had, what gifts you were sending. Moving here you helped us build our new life. I don’t know where we would be without you. From supporting my parents with healthcare, opening your house to us, encouraging me to take advanced math classes as a sophomore to trying everything. You built such a strong pathway for us, your kind heart is ever-giving. You are a person who loved life, loved to enjoy life, to experience the luxuries that places had to offer. You never took things for granted. I’m happy you got to experience many of the dreams you had and travel many places. You always admired my own rare plans of trips or events. You appreciated it when I showed my artistic side and did what made me happy. You wanted people to find joy in their lives, to do purposeful activities.. something I will practice more intentionally now. You were always so eager to hear my stories from college, all the gossip and adventures. After I moved back home and started hanging out with you more often, especially for Megan’s wedding and henna planning, I got to know you even more. You are a wonderful friend and I knew deep down you knew that but I wish we told you that more often. I’m sure I told you how great you are in many different instances and I hope you believed me every time. I’ll always remember putting makeup on your face for the henna and you calling me so talented.. I will always remember how your eyelids wrinkled as I spread the gold eyeshadow powder on them.. it dragged along and I thought it was beautiful, and I hope you believed me when I told you that after you looked in the mirror in awe. You are so beautiful auntie Randa, inside and out. I will miss you. Rest easy ❤️
