Ramona McDowell, a precious light that was extinguished too soon, left us on October 4, 2023. She is now reunited with her husband, Ray McDowell, who passed away in 2018. 

An avid dog lover, Ramona's warmth and compassion for animals touched everyone she encountered. She was known for her fierce love for her dogs, always seen with them at her side.

Ramona's legacy continues in her mother, Mary Hatton; daughter, Lindsey Rodriguez; and son, Benjamin McDowell.

We invite all those who knew Ramona to join us in a Celebration of Life service. This will be held on October 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church, located in Deer Park. During this time of remembrance, we will reminisce, sharing the stories and memories that encapsulate Ramona’s loving personality and her remarkable life.

In this difficult time, may the love and compassion that Ramona embodied serve as a beacon of hope and strength. While we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate her life which she filled with joy, love, and dogs. Ramona McDowell may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
