Ramon's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ramon Castillo, a man of distinguished courage and honor, who departed from this life on September 19, 2023. Born on July 2, 1962, he lived a fulfilling life and left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege to know him.
Ramon was a man of sterling character and a retired army officer, dedicated to serving his country with unwavering bravery. His selflessness, discipline, and commitment were not only evident in his military career but also demonstrated in the values he espoused throughout his life. His memory and his accomplishments will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Mary Castillo, Maribel Rodriguez, and Marysol Hernandez and brother, Zeke Castillo. The bond they shared was an emblem of mutual respect, admiration, and familial love.
A Viewing for Ramon will be held in his honor on September 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM at 509 9th St. We invite those who wish to pay their respects to join us in remembering a man who illuminated many lives with his presence. We kindly ask guests to respect the family’s privacy during this hard time.
A Memorial Service has also been arranged to celebrate Ramon's life. It will be held on September 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Ozona. This service offers an opportunity to commemorate Ramon's life, share memories, and find solace in each other's company as we say our final goodbyes.
As we mourn the loss of Ramon, we also celebrate the life he lived and the lives he touched. Death ends a life, not a relationship, and Ramon's spirit will forever remain alive in our hearts and minds.
