Dr. Rammy S. Gold, 62, of Vienna, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.

He was born in Israel but raised in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late Mervin and Lily Lipsyc Gold.

Rammy graduated from Columbia University and then Case Western Reserve University for medical school.

After moving to Vienna, WV, in 1996 to establish practice in the Mid-Ohio Valley, Dr. Gold expanded neurosurgical services in the three local hospitals. He helped bring robotics spinal surgery in the MOV. Dr. Gold was instrumental in the formation of Pars Neurological Associates.

Rammy was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Being a grandfather was his greatest joy and he lived to spend time with his many grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Deborah Volosin Gold; four children, Ian Bodenhoff (Justine) and their children, Carson, Nolan and Beckett of Vienna, Logan Gold (Cassandra) and their children, Oliver and Sloane of Delaware, Jacob Gold and his son, Abram of Vienna and Grace Gold of New York City, NY; and two sisters, Arlene Wexler (Neil) of New York and Miriam Gold (Doron Fried) of North Carolina.

A welcoming of friends and family to visit the Parkersburg Country Club, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 4-7 pm.
