It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Ralph Requejo, a remarkable soul, who was born on November 15, 1993, and left us on February 25, 2024. Ralph was a man of few words yet unlimited kindness, always choosing to listen more than he spoke, ensuring everyone in his universe felt acknowledged and loved.
Ralph is survived by his adoring sister, Chamyah Sartuche, his respectful brother-in-law, Jacob Olague, his enthusiastic nephew, Stanley Olague, and his cherished niece, Cordelia Olague. His close cousin, Gary Sartuche is also left to mourn his loss. Ralph was regrettably predeceased by his loving mother, Sandra Sartuche, and cherished aunt, Denise Sartuche.
A food enthusiast, Ralph's favorite meals included enchiladas, wings, pizza, and various Mexican foods. Sprite was his preferred refreshment, accompanying his feasts. As a keen reader, his love extended towards comic books significantly. Ralph had a special affection for hip hop music, Mac Miller, Mac Dre, and Korn, his music choices reflecting his zestful character.
Continuing Ralph's list of favorites were the TV shows My Hero Academia and Sports Center. A passionate sports fan, he ardently supported the 49ers, Lakers, and the San Francisco Giants. When it came to gaming, the thrill of Mortal Combat, NBA 2k, and Call of Duty brought him immense joy. His loved spending time at local spots like Sam's Pizza, Adrian's, and Wing Stop. Purple held a special place in his heart, reflecting his vibrant personality.
Caring, empathetic, generous, and kind are words that barely scratch the surface of Ralph's rich personality. His teachings about the power of kindness and quiet strength have had a profound impact on those who were fortunate to know him. He always emphasized that you don’t need to be loud to be heard or forceful to be respected.
Ralph leaves behind an unforgettable legacy of love and humility. He will be remembered most for his quiet kindness, his gentle spirit, and the prioritization of others' needs before his own. A truly soft-spoken soul, Ralph had a gift for listening—really listening—and made those around him feel heard, valued, and loved.
