Ralph “Bud” Raldon Robinson
Born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1929, in Point Loma, California, to Ralph Robinson of Middlesbrough, England, and Donna McLean of Michigan. Affectionately nicknamed “Buddy,” he grew up alongside his older brother Jack.
At just 15 years old, Bud began hauling hay from Imperial County to San Diego, a job that soon grew into his own trucking company. At 19 he entered the US Army and honorably served our country in …
