Ralph Godina's Obituary:
Ralph Godina, born on November 1, 1964, in Tucson, AZ. As a young boy, his mother moved back to Panama with him while his father was fighting for our country. When his father returned they made their permanent home in San Antonio, TX, where he graduated from Holmes High School.
Ralph brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him. Ralph lived a life filled with passion, music, and dance. He passed away on May 29, 2024, in San Antonio, TX, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories.
Ralph had a zest for life that was contagious. He found delight in collecting comic books, indulging in Mexican cuisine, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. His love for music knew no bounds, with Tejano music holding a special place in his heart. Ralph could often be found singing and dancing on TikTok, spreading his infectious energy to everyone who had the pleasure of watching.
He was a loyal fan of WWE, never missing a match and enthusiastically following all the wrestling pay per views. Ralph's pride and joy was family. He admired the men his sons had become and how amazing his step-daughters are, and his love for them knew no bounds. Family gatherings and BBQs were treasured occasions for Ralph, where he could spend quality time with loved ones and create lasting memories.
Throughout his life, Ralph touched the hearts of countless people with his warm and friendly nature. It seemed that wherever he went, he knew someone, and if he didn't, he would make a new friend before leaving.
His survivors include; his longtime partner, Clara Maldonado, who was a constant source of love and support in Ralph's life, as well as her daughters; Chastity, Sandra, Valerie, Michelle and all her grandchildren that he gained in the relationship. His son, Brian Godina, and his daughter, Sunny, from his first marriage; Brandon Godina, from his second marriage and his wife, Ciara, and their children, Grayson, Mila, and Jamison.
Ralph's infectious laughter and ability to bring comfort to others will be greatly missed by all those fortunate to have known him. He impacted the lives of those around him by lifting spirits and spreading positivity. Ralph was like a beacon of light, always ready to bring joy and laughter to any situation.
