Ralph's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Drewitz, who completed his earthly journey on November 7, 2025. Born on March 26, 1950, Ralph lived a full and meaningful life, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Ralph is lovingly remembered by his son, Tyler Drewitz, and daughters, Tanya Drewitz and Lindsey Williams. His grandsons, Austin Tronvig and Issac Garza, will forever hold their grandfather's enduring spirit in their hearts. Ralph is also survived by his siblings, sisters Sandy Owens, Sherry Jones, Carol Rochford, Judy Sechrist, and brothers, Ron and Larry Drewitz.

His life was preceded by his father, Wilbur Drewitz, and mother, Donna Detjen, whose memories continue to inspire and guide their family.

Ralph led a distinguished life marked by notable milestones. In 1970, he honorably joined the Navy, a chapter of his life he looked back on with pride. Ralph spent many years in the grocery business where his work ethic was unmatched. And then later became an entrepreneur and opened a general store and then years later, a coffee shop. His favorite part was socializing with all the customers.

A devoted Raiders fan, Ralph could often be found singing karaoke and enjoying ice tea, preferably in his cherished Raiders cup. Sully's and Thunder Valley were among his favorite local spots, where he spent countless memorable moments.

Ralph’s personality was best described as fun, humorous, outgoing, kind, adventurous, and loving. His mantra in life was "always try your best," a wisdom he shared and embodied. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity, touching innumerable lives with his immense heart.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations for "Help With Service/Other Expenses". Donations can be made at the following web address: https://everloved.com/life-of…

As we mourn the loss of Ralph, we choose to celebrate his life, cherishing the valuable lessons he imparted, the love he shared, and the happy memories he created. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
