On behalf of our entire family, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for joining us in honoring Ralph’s life. Your presence, your kind words, and your shared memories have brought us comfort during this time of loss.

Ralph lived his life with kindness, humor, and quiet strength. He touched many lives with his generosity and his unwavering love for those around him. He also had a special bond with his dogs, who were constant companions and a source of joy in his everyday life. Seeing how deeply Ralph was loved and respected is a reminder of the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We are especially grateful for the prayers, visits, meals, cards, and countless gestures of compassion you have shown. Each one has been a source of strength for us. Most of all, thank you for taking the time to celebrate Ralph’s life. Your love has helped lighten our grief and uplift our hearts.

As we continue forward, we take comfort in knowing Ralph’s spirit will live on through the stories shared, the lessons he gave us, the love he showed so freely—and the loyal paws that still wait for him.

Ralph Edward Bowen, 86, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at his home on August 26, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife, beloved children, cherished grandchildren, and faithful canine companions.

Born on July 27, 1939, in Peoria, Illinois, Ralph was the youngest of three sons born to Carl and Charlotte Bowen. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Ralph honorably served from 1958 to 1962, including an overseas deployment in Okinawa, Japan, …
