We are so sorry to hear of the passing of our esteemed colleague Dr. Raj Wick. We were honored to work with Dr. Wick and know him as a highly respected cardiologist, mentor and friend for many years here at Cardiovascular Consultants Medical Group. His patients adored him and we did, too. Sending our deepest sympathies to Mrs. Wick and the family at this sad time.
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is truly sorry for your family's loss. Please contact Jake Meding if we can provide any information or support during this difficult time. He can be reached at jmeding@pulmonaryfibrosis.org or 312-854-2627. Thank you.

Deepest sympathies to dear Lekha and family and Karla and family

Much love Niri

Lekha, Wicks was a remarkable man.  I know it will be hard for a while.  I pray that you find solace soon and come to enjoy the memories you shared with him.
"Wicks, was a very kind, gentle, empathetic person. I first met Wicks and Lekha many, many years ago. Then, I met him again in the 70's at Kaiser Sunset, where he was my cardiologist. He was always patient and attentive. He always had time for everyone and always with that wonderful smile. Everyone had great love and respect for him. I feel for Lekha. She also is a wonderful person and a great wife to Wicks. She deserves comfort and time to find solace. May Wicks rest in peace. With fond remembrance, Iswari Camou.

Dear Lekha Acca, I don't have any words to console you, except, I am sure God sees your tears. Papa anna may be gone from this mortal world, but he is still around you, I am saying this from my own experience.

I am so happy that I was able to spend the day with you all in February I hoped that I had one more time to spend a day with you all. When I sent the Ellu urundai by mail, Papa anna called and thanked me; I was really surprised by his call. Now to think of it, I am happy he was able to enjoy that homemade Ellu urundai one last time, one last time! It was my mother's recipe (I am sure Ponmany Periamma also made it with the same recipe), we had the same lady ‘used to help our families in making delicious snacks.

Papa anna was a pageboy at my parents’ wedding. We get to meet both my parents’ families only at your family events.

Papa anna gave eulogy at my mother’s funeral, remembering her at her young age to the end.

Lekha Acca, you and Papa anna were there when we needed support and consolation. You cancelled papah anna's 60th birthday party to be with us when appah was fighting for his life. Both of you were there at his bedside when he took his last breath. I will never forget that sight.

When I heard the heartbreaking news about Suren's passing, I immediately called Papa anna for his help. I will never forget that day. It was devastating news to us. Both of you came all the way to NY to be with us and consoled us.

You and Papa Anna raised wonderful kids. He got to enjoy his grandkids Caleb, Rakesh and specially he got to see Rani. He left you in good hands with Previn, Neha and Sean, and Ranjana; still watching over you all.

I will continue to hold you in my prayers.

Take care,

Love,

Ruba & Rabi
