It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce a beautiful and truly unique soul has left this world far too early. Raelyn Briann Pratley, 34, passed away in her home on January 26, 2024.

She was not one to take life for granted and spent her years on this earth dancing her way into the hearts of all those who crossed her path. Her undeniable beauty and free-spirit may have been one of the first things people would notice about her, but have no doubt, behind those stunning blue eyes and glitter Jelly sandals was an intelligent, charismatic, quick-witted, loving, and opinionated woman.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing her were quickly aware of her undeniable devotion to her son, and her unwavering passion for Dave Matthews. Her love of Dave’s music created a special bond that she shared with her father, Darren Pratley, and many friends. The Gorge had become a place dear to her heart and her annual concert trip to “Labor Dave” was an experience she talked about all year long.

The quirky and eccentric side of Raelyn shone brightly through her distinct style as she expressed her uniqueness through her outfits and in the way she styled her home. Finding the perfect way to represent her while decorating her first home was a bonding experience that brought her and her mother, Lori Flook, closer together.

Being a mother was part of what defined Raelyn, and the relationship she had with her son, Trey, was of the utmost importance to her. Taking walks on the greenbelt with him and the dog were one of their favorite pastimes. Ensuring he knew how much she loved him was customary and something she never missed an opportunity to express.

Her infectious laugh and ability to recite any number of comedic routines will forever be remembered by her three siblings, Chance Pratley, Demi Summers, and Taylor Pratley, who were lucky to have made countless memories with her. Laughing together was something the four of them never struggled to do, and those cherished moments will continue to bring joy to their hearts.

The beauty that was Raelyn will live on in the hearts of many, and a day won't go by that her absence in this world isn't felt. Whenever a "Dave" song plays, we’ll crank it up and find comfort in knowing that she’s forever dancing right along with us!
