Rae Ann Unger, age 72, on October 11, 2021, of Apollo Beach, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, Largo, FL, and St. Thomas, USVI, passed away peacefully with family by her side.  Loving mother of Randy (Megan) Eckenrode and Roxanne (Adam) Kloper. Fur grandmother of Tiki Dog.  Preceded by her parents Rose and Raymond Unger and brothers Eddie Unger and John “Buddy” (Patricia) Kartman and sister Arlene (Dave) Leone.  Also preceded by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Eckenrode   

Beloved sister of Ginger (Jay) Vates, Rosemary (Jack) Brooks, Billy (Mary Ellen) Mahoney, Blair (Donna) Mahoney, Raymond (Janet) Mahoney, and James (Annette) Mahoney.   Beloved sister-in-law of Kathleen (Gary) Wall and Rich (Barb) Eckenrode, and loved by many nieces and nephews.  

Beautiful inside-and-outside Rae Ann was a most caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She rescued animals and cleaned up litter.  She was funny, creative, and a survivor. Most of all, she was selflessly loving and generous. She is loved and missed beyond measure, but always with us in our hearts.
