Background
On April 25, 2024, Rufus “Henry” Lindsey, Jr., beloved husband of 33 years with Rebecca Lindsey. Henry overcame many health challenges early in life that affected his health later. These health challenges caused him to understand the possibility of his mortality early in life. Knowing this, he lived each day fully and confidently. His selfless love of others was profound. Henry made everyone feel at home. He welcomed many into his life and redefined what it meant to be family. To Henry, what mattered was your heart, and nothing more. He had a gift to see the best in others and then helped others see that in themselves. Henry had a giving and generous spirit. He knew what mattered in life was not possessions but loving and caring for others. He walked through life living the scripture John 13:34-35 to love one another. His quick wit, faith, and love of his family guided all he was.
This scholarship will be granted to a US Citizen age 50 or younger that is interested in creating a career in the trades. The Educational Endowment will be formed as a 501C3 non-profit in the near future and managed by Lenz Integrity Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor and fiduciary. Contribute
