Quincy's obituary
Quincy Moon, a man of heart and courage, passed away on July 3, 2023. Born October 11, 1975, Quincy left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the good fortune to know him.
Quincy was best described as a gentle giant; his imposing physique was in sharp contrast to his tender-hearted and compassionate demeanor. His nature was such that it made anyone who interacted with him feel secure and valued. Quincy had a knack for lighting up the room with his presence, leaving a glimmer of brightness wherever he went.
Quincy's dedication and talent in football also gained him significant recognition. In 1993, he was listed by Sports Illustrated as the High School Leading Defensive Tackle in Arkansas. This remarkable accomplishment was no surprise to those who knew Quincy's unwavering commitment and natural abilities on the football field. His football prowess was eclipsed only by his humility and good-natured spirit off the field.
Quincy will be profoundly missed by his loving siblings Inez Cal, Mark Franklin, and Cleola Frazier who survive him. They recall fond memories of their brother's gentle spirit, generous nature, and unwavering resolve. He was predeceased by his father, Madison Moon, with whom he now rests.
Quincy's departure leaves a void that will never be filled. However, his memory will serve as a beacon of strength, perseverance, and love for all who had the privilege to know him. As we bid farewell to Quincy Moon, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will endure.
