Peacefully, in her favourite place (laying between her parents), Professor Minerva McGonagall Hérie took her last breath on October 23, 2023.

Minnie was born on April 29, 2010 in Portage La Prairie.  She was adopted by her mom that October and moved to Winnipeg.  She was always very stubborn and energetic, but she didn't truly come into her own until July 22, 2011.  That was the day that she met her dad. It was truly love at first sight for both of them.

Minnie was always the queen of the castle, the boss of everyone, especially her partner-in-crime, James.  She was interested, attentive, and loving when both her baby brother and baby sister were brought home.  Even with her stumpy corgi x basset hound legs, she ran and jumped bigger than any of her human charges.  She would check on the kids in their beds and loved to snuggle.  She cherished the simple pleasures in life, such as getting butt scratches or belly rubs, and sleeping in "her" hallway.  Her favourite foods were ice cubes and James's leftovers, which she enjoyed every time.

Minnie is survived by her devoted mother, Danielle, her loving father, Paul, her caring brother and sister, Max and Fiona, and her doting partner, James Neal Herie. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

We bid farewell to Minnie, celebrating a life well-lived and remembering a soul that shone in every facet of her life. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all those who loved her.
