Meeting new people can be nerve-wracking. But meeting your significant other's family can be even scarier. When I met Carson's family for the first time on 4th of July a few years back, Priscilla, his great aunt, was there for the celebration. She immediately made me feel at ease as we engage in conversations. She made me feel seen, heard, and valued, despite just meeting me. Priscilla's presence instantly brought comfort. I may have the pleasure of having her in my life for only a few short years as we shared holidays together, but her kind spirit will stay with me for always. I will miss our game nights (where I'd witness her competitiveness go beyond just board/card games), us geeking out over shared interests of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, her acrylic "dump parties", and the beauty she brought to our world through her art along with everything that she was. A beautiful celebration of life was had today, and I'm so grateful to have shared this beautiful moment with all who loved her most.

Priscilla was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to the family. She was an amazing artist. I worked with her framing her art for many years.

My condolences to Priscilla's  family and loved ones. I met Priscilla twice in England where Erin’s family lived for a number of years. We shared lovely conversations about family, children, women and life in general. It felt like we had known each other for years and no strangers at all. She was kind, thoughtful and inspiring. I very often think about her when I sit in the sandy park where we first met. Her smiles stay with us forever.

My condolences to Priscilla's family. I first met Priscilla when we were invited to our son’s first Thanksgiving with the family. It was a very long table with many attending. There was lots of laughter and stories all around. There were jokes about Priscilla liking bananas and they have a funny chicken candle they use as a family type of mascot that gets dressed up differently each year.  Funny stories evolve around it as well.

Priscilla was also an extremely talented pastel artist and made a painting each year that she would make prints for Christmas cards. She had commissions for amazing paintings as well. She was also an accomplished knitter and I am the proud owner of a pair of her socks!

Priscilla and I got along so well and she was so caring and loved her daughters and was so proud of them. She told me how she was so happy to have my son in her life now too. I loved her humor and her compassion. She was an all around precious human being and gone too soon.  She will be missed by so many of us. Peace be with you, Priscilla ❤️
