Priscilla's obituary

Priscilla Richards, a loving mother, nature enthusiast, and lifelong scholar, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of beauty and compassion, having touched the lives of those around her with her warm heart and passionate spirit.

Priscilla's passion for books was evident from an early age. Her thirst for knowledge led her on a lifelong journey of learning and discovery. As she grew, so did her appreciation for the written word and the vast worlds that books could unlock.

Priscilla's love for knowledge lead her to Unity and eventually a career in the Unity Library and Archives. For several decades, she devoted herself to nurturing the minds of countless individuals who stepped into the library she so lovingly curated. Outside of her work, Priscilla's personal collection of books was a testament to her insatiable curiosity and quest of understanding. She was a steward of knowledge, always eager to guide others to the perfect book that matched their interests or needs.

While Priscilla spent a lot of time with her books, she loved the moments spent amidst the tranquility of the outdoors, relishing every opportunity to wander through lush forests and bask in the serenity of nature and the mountains of Colorado. But it was her affinity for the ocean that truly captured her heart.

Priscilla cherished the bond she shared with her daughter, Johannah. Together, they created unforgettable memories, exploring the wonders of the world and finding joy in the simplest of moments in nature. Their bond was a beacon of love and understanding, embodying the very essence of what family means.

Though she is no longer with us, Priscilla's spirit will forever linger in the fragrant blooms of the wildflowers, the echoes of her laughter in the rustling leaves of the woods, within the pages of her books, and the timeless ebb and flow of the ocean's waves. She leaves behind a sport of curiosity and a legacy of love and appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.

Priscilla Richards will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration, and may the flowers she loved always remind us to appreciate the beauty of life that she so deeply cherished.

Priscilla, your love lives on in our hearts and the world around us.
