Pricy Ellen Ray (Wolford) passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, with family by her side.

Born on September 13, 1957, in Phelps, Kentucky, to Troy and Margarett Wolford, Pricy later made Wisconsin her home. She worked intermittently as a housekeeper in the Wisconsin Dells area for many years. Her life was a testament to resilience and compassion.

Pricy’s boundless kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. With a loving heart and an open spirit, she extended help to those in need without hesitation or judgment. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Known for her warm smile and infectious laugh, Pricy brought light and joy to all who crossed her path.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Margarett Wolford; her brother, Victor Wolford; and the love of her life, Donald Seitz.

She is survived by her brother, Troy Wolford; her son, Edgar Wolford; her daughter-in-law, Judilee Schubert-Wolford; her grandchildren, Tiara (Anthony) Seitz and Tyler Wolford; many great-grandchildren; and a circle of devoted friends who will deeply miss her presence.

A celebration of Pricy’s life will be held at a later date.
