I am remined of a gathering the night before a funeral. The pastor remarked "tonight we mourn our loss, but tomorrow we celebrate their gain". Words cannot express the joy I feel for both Mary and Preston as they have reached eternal peace. The journey is seldom easy but the destination is paradise.

I just found out that Mary and Preston passed away, and wanted to say I was so sorry to hear. They were such nice people. Our daughter Julia was in ballet with Kerala and theatre plays in St. Peter with Aaron. Mary sold flowers with me at the Nutcracker and Spring Programs. She also did a flower arranging class for my Girl Scouts. A lovely person! 😊We are sending our prayers and will be thinking of you. Sincerely, Jodi Miller

What a precious couple! I am thankful for the time (2-week trip from Iowa to Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada and Colorado & back to Iowa) that Preston and I got to share after he got home from Nam. And for the times that Marvis and I would "stop by" when traveling anywhere close the St. Peter. Praise God for how Preston and Mary let go and let God show the way in good times and the tough situations! I always think of them went I get a mailing from the "Great Courses". It was always encouraging and exciting to hear how you (Nathaniel, Aaron, and Kerala) were thriving in St. Peter schools and beyond. Dealing with this earthly separation just hurts...I know. I pray for His Comforter, in the midst of your grief, to bring you peace through that blessed assurance we all have in Christ Jesus. I am saddened that I will never see or talk to Preston and Mary again on this earth but encouraged to know their eternal destination and the promise of a blessed reunion!
