Preston's obituary
Preston Lerue Embry, 51 went home to be with Jesus on July 24 , 2022. Amarillo, TX became home after serving two terms in the Persian Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm/ Shield. Integrity honor and a hero best describes Preston. A 3 Bronze Star, National Defense and Army Ranger, Sharp Shooter, M-16 and Hand Grenede Specialist are a few of the major accomplishments he aquired on his journey through life. After an honorable discharge Preston proceeeded to Amarillo where he met his wife Alisha Pierson and married her shortly after.
Preston was born on March 29 1971 in [Holbrook, AZ] to his parents Charles and Gloria Embry. Preston had a fun personality and was full of creativity. His sense of humor was one of a kind. He could fill a room with laughter. He had a heart of gold. Preston put others needs before his own. He loved to play the drums, work in the yard, and be outdoors. He was intrigued by electronics. He was known to disassemble and reassemble things such as computers, drones, music equipment, guns and more. He loved to fix and build things. He was a handy man and could fix almost anything.
Preston had a special love for his service dog Nala who he has reunited with in heaven.
Preston attended Cal Farley Boys Ranch from age 5 through graduation.
After graduation Preston Enrolled in the army and stationed in Fort Knox , Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gloria Embry and Uncle Frank Watson.
Preston is survived by his wife Alisha Embry, Brother and wife Mark and Kathleen Embry and their 3 Sons
2 daughter in laws and 5 grandkids, Aunt Marilyn Shirley.
Family In Law: Kim Pierson, Joe Pierson, Trent Pierson, Kendra Pierson and children, Lexyne and Isaiah Gutierrez , Jayme Tapia and husband Randy Tapia. Along with many Boys Ranch Brothers.
